It was an incredible fashion disaster show! What is a fashion disaster you ask? A fashion disaster is when people dress up crazy because they think that it should be worn. First, everyone walked on the... Can you guess what we walked on? Here is a hint: it was the funniest thing of our life and it’s red. The red carpet!

We looked at everyone when they were walking on the red carpet and whoever got the most claps would be the winners and we put the winners in order for you. The winners were Sima, Leo, Scarlett, Sarah, and Vera. Everyone did an incredible job with their fashion choices. 

We then wrote a persuasive story about why people should wear our fashion choices. Our task was to persuade other 4th graders why we should win the fashion show and be the newest fashion craze at Howe-Manning. We focused on using colorful and dazzling word choices to bring our posh outfits to life.

It was super duper cool and fun! You should check it out! And you should buy some of these outfits! You will surely stand out! Who knows you might see these outfits at the mall, school, supermarket or even wedding attire. See you on the runway.

Klipazon

Let me tell you about the funniest shop in school Klipazon! Ok, today Andrew and I are going to tell you about a shopping paradise. You know how you keep on earning that sweet Klipfel Cash and you don’t know what to do with it. Well, look no further than Miss Klipfel’s “FAMOUS” Klipazon. You can buy stuff from stickers to Chevy to the teacher's assistant. Once you know what to buy and the prices you can save up and spend your pockets out then be kind and earn some more. 

All you have to do is type your name in and pick what you want and 2-3 days you should have your order! When Miss Klipfel calls you over, get ready to bring your wallet and have a certificate. When you have a certificate you can only use it right then or before you go out to snack. You might want to save up so you can buy so many things at once! Also, most holidays you will get Klipfel cash or you’ll get a certificate that you can write down anything from Klipazon that you want! 

Another way to get Klipfel cash is whenever your class does really well they earn a brownie point and once your tray of brownie points is full of 12 brownies everyone in the class gets a dollar! One other way to get cash is when it's your birthday you will get one Klipfel cash! Don’t forget you can get Klipfel cash to spend at any time! Hope you earn a lot and spend a lot!

 

Wonderful World Google Site

Have you ever met with someone on the other side of the world? We have! We met with Mr. Daly’s 5th year class, aka 5th grade for us, from Ireland as part of the JDO Foundation. We did a HUGE project. It was called the Wonders of the World. We each had an assignment to write about a Wonder of the World including the Colosseum, Machu Picchu, Great Wall of China, Chichen Itza, Petra, Colosseum, Christ the Redeemer, and Taj Mahal. We also added the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Statue of Liberty so every group could do a different site. We started by figuring out how far each site is from our schools.

We had to start by doing research to figure out why these places are called World Wonders. We had shared slides between our class in the United States and their Irish class to record facts, figure out where the location is, and a lot more. We even did a shared Padlet to share everything we learned with each other. It was really fun to create this with a class in another country.

After, we had to have an important meeting with them to talk about our final product which was making a Google Site. We met in teams over Zoom to divide up our Goolge Site and decide who was doing what. It was fun to talk and share what we had learned so far about our Wonder.
