Chefs Klipfel & Durden whet appetites for fiction when we opened the DK Diner and served up six scrumptious genre courses. During our book tasting, patrons from both classes were able to get a taste for their interest level for our upcoming fiction unit and even find some books for future reading. We loved opening our diner so both classes could join together.
Our historical fiction table allowed students the delectable taste of our oldest recipe and our dessert course of graphic novels was delicious to the last crumb. Even with the Mystery genre still a mystery, we are happy to report that our opening morning of the DK Diner resulted in a 5-star Yelp rating.
