Before our chapter 3 math check-in all about multiplication and division, we played the total UNFAIR MATH GAME which is SO FUN! Here are the full rules:
Miss Klipfel would ask math questions and you have to do the work and solve the problem. You have a few minutes to complete your work, then we would go over it as a class. Here is an example:
But really it was all about the points! The very UNFAIR points. Miss Klipfel asks you “Keep or Give? to whoever's name was picked from the random name selector” but wait, that isn’t so unfair right? Yes, and here is why...THERE IS NEGATIVE POINTS!!! If you spin on the negative points and you said give, the points would go to the other team but if you said, keep and spun negative your team got the negative points! Same if you spin on a positive point and say keep, your team gets a higher score but if you said give the other team got the points!
Yes, totally unfair but totally fun. The final score was -130 to -10. We were cracking up because the wheel kept spinning negative. Also, one thing before you start to play, you never know when it is gonna end! We can't wait to play the Unfair Game again!
